Job description

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand our market.

You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.

The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.


Job responsibilities

  • Develop effective growth strategies that apply both to financial success and customer success.

  • Research the market to identify buying/selling trends, new markets, and customer needs.

  • Develop relationships with industry professionals, competitors, vendors and other personnel.

  • Produce reports regarding new prospects.

  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.

  • Preparing Presentation and sales displays.

  • Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products.

  • Developing quotes and proposals.

  • Attend events, special interest groups, conferences and seminars to seek new opportunities.

  • Negotiate with clients to solidify the terms of each contract. Ensure each contract adhere to regulations and guidelines.

  • Maintain the integrity of confidential information.

  • Contribute to the reputation of the organization by entering and achieving professional awards.

  • Support team members to increase successfully closed deals on a daily basis.

  • Manage and train the business development team.

  • Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople. 


  • Proficiency in English.
  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role.

  • Ability to create initiatives and follow them to completion.

  • Ability to successfully lead business development team through each phase of the sales cycle.

  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.

  • Time management and planning skills.

  • BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field.

  • Strong interest in the Internet world, SaaS B2B or B2C products.

  • Good writing skills, especially for specific documents both in Italian and English, and ability to represent processes graphically.

  • Experience of managing large marketing budgets. Experience of managing relationships with SEO, digital media and SEM agencies.

  • Experience of website analytic tools, proactively using this information to improve conversions and ROI’s.

  • Experience creating, developing and executing growth hacking techniques.

  • Proficient in developing, managing and analyzing email marketing campaigns, lead nurturing and marketing automation.

  • Working knowledge of different CRM and Marketing Automation software
